Photos to me are deceptive in themselves. I think real life would work better. In the book"Battle of the bull runts" they tried tests with a audience trying to id dwarfism carriers. In all these eyeball tests no one could do it back in the 50's or whenever. I think th and pha might be different. At least th.

I know what you are getting at Zach but unfortunately these cows will not be close to a chute for a few more months. When I do get them home and have a chance to do something close to it I may try.
Funny how everyone thought that Ruby Ariel was a TH. I treated her that way for breeding before the test as she is a poster child for the "type or look" that people say TH carriers exhibit.
Also Tango should have been clean for both to what they think the carriers look like.
Ruby two is tough as she has had a hard start, she calved by herself at the other farm and never came home to be with the first calvers and had to hold her own with the older cows and never really caught up, weight wise from raising a calf that is in the replacement pen. She may have looked different with a little TLC. She breed back first time AI though.
