I think next year will be the last year kris black will sell hoo doo heifers. Where is the next ranch or ranches that will those type of purebred cattle in those numbers? Not just charolais any breed.

I would think Gregg Stewart would be the logical answer.  I am most likely over looking some other good breeders though.

The HooDoos were supposed to have disappeared a couple of years ago as they were supposed to switch over to a Red Angus/Charolais crosses.  I'll believe when they don't show up any more.

There are a bunch of huge western ranches that run closed or semi-closed herds of purebred cattle of different breeds.  The HooDoo thing took off purely because of the Texas slick shear shows and the moderate size of those females relative to most Charolais.

You could find lots of Angus cattle out west that don't chase shows or even the popular Angus commercial game.  I bet you could also find plenty of black Simmentals.
