Hi, I know that ring worm can be transmitted through halters and show combs, but is it possible that it also can be spread through the use of clippers? I only ask because I have read forums on here that say that Fluid Film is a good way to kill ring worm, so I was just wondering if the oil on the blades would be enough to stop it from spreading from one cow to another.

WD 40 pretty much kills anything. Wahl makes a clipper spray I use it all the time that disinfects between calves. Yes you can transmitt from clipper to calf.

This cleaner for your clipper blades not only contains a disinfectant but also has bactericidal, virusidal and fungicidal properties.

I always try to spray Fungus Fighter on all my equipment after a show. It seems to help cut down on the spread.
