thinking of hitting the big shows...

im new to showing beef and i have done a steer last year at the county fair and im super interested in showing at more showmanship competitions and shows. what are some good and bad things about showing?

Develop a tough skin enjoy it. Sort the info to best serve yourself and forget the rest. 
Meet lots of people and be picky about who you retain as friends.
Do it for the enjoyment... not to win. You will be much happier!

x2.. it will take you a few years before you really feel like you know what your doing but find good people who win and learn from them... most are more than willing to teach..
