Past few years I went to the three shots and 7 day CIDR protocol AI  @ 72-84 HRS on cows. I have been about 90%. This year I AI'd  12 on Time protocol if they are going to come in they will tihs week. We will see.

TAI on cidr's run about 40%
TAI on MGA %50-55
Ovsynch 30-30%

If you can't catch them in heat it's what ya gotta do!

WOW, I feel pretty good then. The past couple years the worst we have been is about 75%. I am assuming those are your numbers?

Yes, dairy heifers, beef heifers and cows. Now I watch for heats with kmars but still set up with mga first then cidr's for non responders.
Overall MGA was 77% last year. But only stuck 50-55% of the TAI ones. Little less with Cidrs and always time with ovsynch. I only watch my cattle everyother week so I don't like to time just for the fact I'm not going to be around if they come into heat couple days later.
