I wish you luck Lynn, but I can't cross my fingers and toes for you, for more than a few hours, because we are implanting about 30 tomorrow ourselves... lol. We are implanting a variety of embryos this time, including 10 sired by Pheasant Creek Leader 4th, who was the last Shorthorn herd sire at Remitall. He was the top selling bull at the 1970 Regina Bull Sale at $7400 and I think he was pretty right for today. I am also implanting some from the top selling cow at $12,000 in the 2008 Spry's sale in Australia sired by Shadybrook Perfection. I think Perfection may be the best bull used at Shadybrook in a long time! There rest are some Pioneer and Leroy sired embryos from some of our better donors. One thing about implanting embryos, is that it has a way of keeping you rather humble. Just when you think you are getting real smart and have good success with pregnancies, you will have a poor day and you are brought back to reality real quick. There isn't much in this business that comes real easy... other than the enjoyment it provides.
