I went to this sale. It was a beautiful day in Athens, TX.. It was a buyer's market (many stayed home for the TX-OU game). There was some great deals to be had only because of poor attendence.

Even though I may be biased, ZNT Cattle brought their good ones and did quite well with a Triple X daughter going to a smart cowman, Rademacher. Their Audrey donor cow was picture perfect with a perfect udder and had a really good looking About Time calf at side. They also brought Triple X's full sister which is awesome. She is one of the deepest, thickess heifers I have ever seen.

A Chill Factor bred heifer sold well.

Some of the fullbloods with interesting pedigrees were scratched because of poor body conditions from what I was told.

I believe our Lot 35 Cookie Monster x Maine x Angus cow was the high selling lot at $3000.  She is due in November to Triple X.  Telos was right, the Chill Factor heifer was really nice.  Would have made a great clubby cow.

Out of morbid curiosity, how did the purebred Brahman bull do?  I was pretty surprised when I ran across that in the catalog.

I'm pretty sure he did not sell.
