We have a Cerveza cow that has raised one good calf after another. We have been using her to produce show steers, but are wanting to bred/flush her for more of a maternal (heifer replacements). Our cow has been tested PHAF. We recently purchased a Whiskey son out of a New Edition full sister. The bull is a carrier, and we are thinking about breeding him to her. Have not seen or heard of any issues with breeding match like this, but I am sure we are not the first to use these genetics together. Both animals are very sound in their makeup.
