I got some tragic news yesterday.  Bryan McIlhany (McIlhany Show Cattle) was killed in an automobile accident on 12/30/08.  I've known Bryan and his family for a number of years, and they are some of the finest people I have ever met. Bryan had recently graduated from A & M, had gotten married and he and his Dad have put their heart and soul into building an exceptional cattle herd.  Please keep Bryan and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

I am really sorry to hear that.  Bryan used to come look at my calves when he was going to A&M.  He was a really nice young man.  Do you have any details on what happened?  I searched on the internet and came up with nothing.

All I know is that his brother told me he was in Mason and was going to make a left hand turn.  Apparently, the person behind him did not see him and plowed into him.  I have not been able to find any details either.  Please let me know if you do.  The services are with Vaughn Funeral Home in Boerne, TX.

Didn't Bryan live in or go to school in Montanna for a while, maybe back in 2003-2004?

Truly a tragic loss of a young family man with a big future.

May God richly bless all of the family and comfort them.

He was quickly developing a reputation around here.  He was one of those people with a drive in them that still had an attidue that I could only describe at Christian.

I know Bryan did spent some time in Montana for a while, but I'm unsure of what years or why he was there.

Can anyone tell me where I can get the obit for Bryan's funeral?  Also, can you tell me when it was?  I have been unable to find it in the newspapers.

Thank you.
