Ok, I know everyone is busy with the N.A.I.L.E. and Thanksgiving is next week, but I need some help getting my new heifer from Canton, IL (near Peoria) to Texas. I know Texas is a big state but I'm only a little over an hour south of OK on I-35 or 75/69. Will pay reasonable rate. Contact me here or by phone (214-557-8436).  I have gotten some leads and appreciate those who have responded or called and there are a couple that are working on it but nothing is set. With my Multiple Slerosis, if I had to do the trip, it would take 4 days. So, if anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.  Jim  <cowboy>

I know of a person also working on a ride for a heifer from Iowa to Texas: south of Waco about 30 miles.  That makes 2!

Can anyone get her to the Joplin, MO area this weekend?  I know someone there that I can meet in Tulsa or even I can get to Joplin.  Please, anyone?

Really looking for help.  Anyone with some time, compassion, etc...This is my first show heifer in 25 years, a project to help me with my Multiple Sclerosis.  Have something to work with and goals to look forward to.  I'd really like to get her home so I can begin this new chapter of my life.   :(

I can't help you with the transportation but surely there will be some trailers headed south over the next couple of weeks (patience).  I couldn't agree more with your approach of your MS (positive), my aunt had it for 30 some years, and now my sister has it  and is struggling some with medications and side affects. :(  Good luck with your heifer and this new chapter of your life, if I hear of anything I'll let you know on transportation.  I like your cattlecards. :)  Good Luck

Anyone headed this way from the recent Angus and Polled Hereford sales in MO and IL?

Still need a ride...I know there were a number of Purebred sales this weekend in MO and IL.  Anybody coming this way?  I really need to get her here sooner than later.  I need time to get her ready for some upcoming shows.  I wish I could do it myself but I suffer from Multiple Sclerosis and driving the trip is not in the cards.  Before buying her, I heard how it'd be no problem getting her here.  Now, I can't get it done.  If anybody knows anybody...if anyone is coming part way?  Willing to pay reasonable rate.  Maybe a premium for good, fast service.  I know I'm asking a lot but I know someone out there can do it.
Respectfully,
Jim
