trying to start a herd

I am trying to raise females to use in a club calf program.  I have two purebred limi's , a maine shorthorn cross and a grizzly.    Right now the grizzly is bred to I80, the maine shorthorn cross is bred to captain obvious, and the limi's are bred to starburst and optimus prime.    what are peoples thoughts on those matings.  I am trying to decide on bulls for next spring, im thinking of the beast, macho, lutton, and griswolds bulls showdown and momentum as choices for the limi's.  For the other two im thinking of rebel soul, ali's solution, no worries, dr. who, simple math, and lutton.

Most any Angus/Simmi/Maine genetics. Lut, OCC bloodlines,  Meyer or sons, Ali family. Stay away from ANY carrier bulls.

Breed the limis to Deuce or Windfall then breed those heifers to your clubby or crossbred bulls, high percentage heifers will yield you a more consistent calf crop
