Something happened two days ago that bumped my Weirdcrap O meter to the peg. Black simmie humpy cross recip just had twin red angus bull calves. My herd bull  is a black angus and was in maximum security lock down while recipe in heat no other Bulls around. Has anyone every had this happen.

what was the ET mating? Were either black angus parents red carriers?
I had a set of triplets from a single embryo transfer a few years back. Three heifer calves.

I have had 3 sets of twins from embyros splitting after being implanted. In all my cases, all were heifers and each pair in every case was absolute identical calves.  That is what has happened in this case as well I would think

would be a nice way to extend cost of flushing and that it was a consequence of flushing and not natural twinning of blood lines.
