Yeah, I was going to post it. He died in Savannah, GA of Congestive Heart Failure about 3 weeks shy of his 10th b'day. He will be buried in a private ceremony in the SW corner of Sanford Stadium in a marble vault along with all his forefathers. He had been the mascot since 1999 and ended his carreer with a 87-27 football record. Some other interesting facts during his tenure: UGA won 19 of their 35 total National Championships, 35 SEC Championships, and had 6 top 10 finishes in the Director's Cup, the annual all-sports competition ranking among the nation's top athletic programs. He definitely was a big part of UGA's teams, was known nation-wide, and will be missed. He was known as " UGA VI" but his registered name was "UGA V's Whatchagot Loran ?"  We are told that the lineage is secure and UGA VII will be announced at a later date.  :'( :'( :'( GO DAWGS!!!!!
