My youngest son has a Brangus heifer that we gave a shot of Lute, she cycled on May 30 and has been in the breeding pen with the bull since.  The bull did his part and he has not paid her any attention, even though she acted as if coming back in.  How long should I wait to have her ultrasounded to see if she took.  We are fighting the clock so to speak, she needs to be as heavy bred as possible for next years majors in Texas.  Thanks for all input.

You can pick up a pregnancy by ultrasound as early as 28 to 30 days -

Or you could blood test at 30 days and have 98% accuracy without the cost of the ultrasound and the trip charge.  That is what we do.  Our vet is not sure enough with the ultrasound to waste the money on.
