Are there any jackpot shows coming up in North East or East Texas ?

The Stephen F Austin State University Agriculture Show Team will be hosting the Lumberjack Invitational Steer and Heifer Show next Saturday, December 18, at the SFASU Equine Center on Hwy 259 north of Nacogdoches.  Registration 7AM-9AM Saturday Morning, show starts at 10AM.
Entry fees are $25($20 if you enter by the 13th) Dr Jason Banta will Judge.  Email [email protected] if you have any more questions!

The showbox is a great place to find the TCCA Sanctioned shows, but not a very good source for Jackpot shows.  They don't get to collect any fees for the non-sanctioned shows.

Only thing against the show in Nac is the give out buckets and tshirts .. really looking for a BUCKLE SHOW && can you go to a TCCA points show if your not registered with them ?

yes you can go. you just cant recieve points. as far as buckle shows go. im not sure when the next one is. but you are eligible to take a buckle or award regardless if your a member. just no points

Our show in Nac typically gives buckles for the champs...buckets and T-Shirts go to breed or class winners, but the champion steers and champion heifers typically get buckles...we cant really afford to give a buckle to every class winner...we will not be giving buckles this year though...in their place we are giving monogramed garmet and duffle bags...only reason for this is we were going to move our show this year so that we could also have a hog show, but there were some last minute issues with the facility we were moving it to forcing us to move the show up and back to the original facility and our earliest quoted delivery times for buckles at that point was January...so we chose to find another award option that we could actually have to present at the show. 
Next year we will hopefully have a new facility with no issues and be doing steers, heifers, hogs, and goats...and there will be buckles given out!

Show Stopper 95 so they give out buckles and awards at point shows ? im not too familar with them ..

at certin shows they do. not all. but there is alot of them that do both so they can attract more people (steer shows). heifer shows that give breed buckles in tx are few and far between

There is a TCCA show in McKinney sponsored by Princeton FFA this Saturday that gives good prizes
