update on a calf I posted in Feb

Here is an up dated picture of the calf I posted in February, he is now at 870, tons of hair, (with the 85% weather we are having he was not real happy to be out in the sun for his picture), the young man who is showing him has done a good job with him so far, it is his first steer. The steer is not a barn burner but should do OK at our county fair. The steer is dog gentle, he has never kicked, gotten spooky, or anything, he will lick, chew and generally get in the way when ever he tries to clean his pen. Can't ask more from a steer with a first timer.

he looks good  (thumbsup) . are you going to post a picture of him clipped/ roughed out?

Fair starts June 28
I will post some more pictures when he gets roughed out,

His Dam is an Ali and he has grown similar to her, at about 10 months they really start to change
He is out of a first calf heifer, I bred her to My Turn this time, she is due on 2/6.
