Currently my kids have four show calves, two heifers and two steers. Our young heifer that was born 9/24/11 was sired by "I Am Legend". She is real impressive and could compete at the national level. Since my kids are 9 and 11, they are not ready for that level of competition. I am strongly considering selling her so she can go and compete at the big shows. Would like some advice on what type of information I should include in my ad if I decide to sell her. I know the obvious things (pictures from front, side and rear, video) that need to be posted. I also thought about including pics of her sire and dam as well. Another thing I am thinking about doing is waiting until she shows for the first time at the Oklahoma State Fair and Tulsa State Fair, so I could include the results in the ad. Do you think I should add anything else to the ad, am I adding too much and should I wait to put her up for sale until she shows?
Well some of you asked for pictures of the calf that I am thinking about selling. I took some pictures the past couple of days of the heifer. None of them have been photo shopped and I am not a professional photographer (probably can tell by just looking at the pics. The calf hasn't been clipped either, trying to make sure she has hair for the upcoming shows starting in September.
