i see absolutely nothing wrong with this.  isn't that the total point?

I don't see any problem with it either, if thats the way an operation wants to run things, its their choice. Your right, it is the total point if your wanting to sell the best of both but worlds.  I guess thats what its come down to this day and age.  I'd rather see the more maternal females winning shows as oppossed to a heifer that was meant to be a steer.
