I am going to try and video my brothers calf crop this fall for his sale.    Any ideas on where to get started on a video camera?

Power Plus/Duff's have some awesome cattle. It was a lot of fun being out there taking pictures and footage of that high quality of cattle.

Also to MYT, you would be amazed at what a tripod can do for your quality of video. A lot of people think they can hold a video camera steady enough, but it can end up pretty shaky.

Hey just thought I would share another reason why video marketing is such a great idea. The video at the top of this topic was produced by us and placed on YouTube. On March 9th I posted a link to the Power Plus video on Steer Planet. YouTube has insight data that the give you for FREE. I was able to tell that on March 9th 40% of my views came from steerplanet.com. I also was able to tell that the majority of the people that watched my video were from KS, IA and MN with CA a close fourth.

Sure Power Plus had the initial cost of the video, but I don't think you can buy advertising like that anywhere else. The Internet is a great place to spread your word. We have more videos up at http://www.youtube.com/apicreativemedia This is one of my favorites that was for the 125th Anniversary of the Angus Association. Just makes you feel good about being in the cattle business.
