It kind of sucks and is expensive but I just have to have them ship it.  50# bag for like 25 bucks isnt bad but then its like a 15 dollar shipping charge worth it in the end though!

I have actually found that around here, even though we can get it pretty handily, the cheapest way for us to get it is to have it shipped.  Cause around here all you can find at most stores or dealers is the little like 15lb buckets that retail for close to $40.  So much cheaper to have them ship you a 50lb bag for $25

twisted h - have you talked to the TX rep about getting it to you? If he has another customer near you, sometimes he'll ship them together or deliver to one or the other and you can pick up. Noone around us uses Vita Ferm, so we work with him to get it when he's coming thru with a larger delivery. Call him. I'm sure he'll work something out. Radale Tiner - (816) 383-3411.

Nacogdoches...far east Texas...if you know somewhere that carries the 50lb bags around here let me know...but I havent found anyone around here!
Your not far away...I live in Longview. I'm originally from a small town an hour north of here and the closest place for us was in Cookville which is a little town east of Mt. Pleasant. According to the vita ferm website though there's a guy in Kilgore that carries it.

yeah, it still seems cheaper for us to just have the bags shipped...but we are only feeding SureChamp, and I ahve found that for some reason the few dealers in east texas that do carry SureChamp only carry the smaller buckets which are like 15 lbs and retail for like twice as much as the 50lb bags, so we find it just easier to order the 50lb bags.
boss I had not thought about talking to Radale, let me know when you are ordering again and maybe we can all go together on it

I live in Colorado... and does vita ferm actually work really well?

There was a thread on here a little while that talked about Sure Champ. If you are looking to get your show animals on it, you can see what some people were saying. Sure Champ is the show product of Vita Ferm's.

You might look in to repping the product yourself if you have a good storage area and others in the area who want to feed it.  Get a better deal on it and make a little money for the hassle.

There is a sales rep for Vita Ferm in Cheyenne if you Colorado folks are in the northern part of the state.  He also runs the Sullivan trailer that hits the shows on the eastern end of Colorado.

Sure Champ is made by Vita Ferm.  They also make a full line of mineral products for cattle and other livestock.

Sure Champ is the one product we never go without!  Luckily we have a Vita Ferm dealer close buy that keeps it in stock.  Lewiston Vet Clinic in Lewiston Mn if anybody is looking for it in this area.
