now if the groups to be given this new right were not predominantly democratic, i would be more receptive, but since they're not, i'm not.  basically, since liberals reproduce at lower levels than conservatives, they have to reproduce through immigration (and indoctrinating your kids at school), usually at a rate that exceeds even conservatives, thus unfairly tilting the vote in the democrats favor.

start a citizen on the dole, and just like a government program, it's tough to get rid of it.

the problem for conservatives, abortion.  as long as this is penalty driven, rather than adoptive driven, conservatives will always face an uphill battle, as city states typically attract voters who will vote for abortion rights.  even if one were to agree on restricting abortions after 16 weeks, what would the penalty be if any.  i still say liberals feel more of an anthropomorphic response with horses and chickens than they do a unborn fetus (at least in the voting booth).
