Walks Alone and BIM on second calvers?

Personally, no. I have seen too many big calves out of them to use them on a 2nd calver. If it was my female I'd wait till the third calf.

Ours (Walks Alone) came pretty reasonably sized as far as weight from smooth shouldered angus cows, but the calves had some shoulders and were built like bricks.  These were 5th calvers that had no birthweight issues on previous calves.  I would wait for a 3rd calver.

Any suggestions? I tryed posting a picture but it wouldnt let me. Im limited to using bulls from ABS.

Iwouldn't breed him to anything less than a third calver,BW really isn't the issue,all mine are reasonably sized,the're just biult like rockstars when they are born.

Ive bred WA to a bunch of second calvers and have yet to pull one.  Three of the six calves in our barn to show this year are out of that combo.
