War Eagle

Has anyone used the War Eagle bull? Got a second calf cow due to calf on april13. Any ideas on how he has worked out. Really looking foward to seeing how it turns out.

We used him back a couple of years ago before all the TH and PH came about and got some nice bull calves, no heifers though so I couldn't tell you about that.  Nothing exceptional, just adequate.

My calves were level and square and clean fronted.  However, they really lacked thickness.

I had the exact opposite experience.  Mine were a little round in the hip, had thickness to spare and some were a little  dirty fronted but not terrible.  They fed good and were big boned, their hair was wasn't the best.  Some of the fronts came from the cows, McCarney daughters,
