Just heard that if you mix a spray bottle 1/3 vinegar, 1/3 rubbing alcohol, and 1/3 baby oil and use it every time you wash your calves it will help hair growth and keep it clean? Anyone ever heard of it?

Vinegar - yes, it helps to condition the hair and hide.  The Alcohol - not so sure.  we have used green as a mix on showday when out of absorbine and it did help to pop the hair but I think that daily use would be hard on the skin, thus ultimately defeating the purpose of hair growth.  Mineral Oil - we have used on flaky skin but never daily.  Not that it won't work I guess.  When we do use it, it puts some serious weight on the hair and can make a particle of dirt 1/2 a mile away automatically stick to the hair.  It is a magnet for dirt which is hard on clipper blades if you clip often.  Not sure that helps you much, but if you do a search for hair care or growth on here there is a TON of information on it.  Good luck!

We mix half show sheen with a quarter lineament oil and a quarter with vinegar. Seems to work pretty well.

Another thing we do that we have really noticed helps the hair is using hair conditioner when washing. It makes their hair a lot softer and just overall healthier we fell.

I like using conditioner as well on the calves legs when washing.  Letting it sit for 15 minutes before i use the roto seems to work really well for me.  Seperates the hair alot.

Alcohol works good to clean hair but also dries it out and makes it brittle. I don't know how it will work in this mix but if it starts drying out your hair I'd get rid of the alcohol. JMO
