I DID A TRADE with a person and they got busy and i thought i wasnt getting paid and vented whille under the influence, so im wrong to do that whether it be a matter of principle,or  the amount,so/ dont hate  me cuz im  beautiful, I just want fair treatment, and just wanted to get paid. I may have overreacted , but in all fairness, embryos out of cf10queens and wf destinys best have at least some potential regardless of what the sire is, and $250 per embryo oughta be a fair price.

the first thing you should do is turn off caps lock and type in complete sentences and make the situation a little clearer as to what the deal was, what you lost, what you want. etc etc etc

Mark, In case you didn't know, in the world of the internet if you type in all capital letters that is supposed to be the same as yelling.

I believe in this case a little yelling might help him relieve some tension. I hate too say it; but I would let people know who screwed you (PM's Only here on SP). Word of mouth goes a long way. I hate people that pull *%#$ like that.

I don't disagree, except everything he types is all capital letters.

To answer your question mark, "no. I do not think so."  (Ok, but a very selected few, but not many.
Sad but true.

Trust everyone. But still cut the cards.

You answer your own question by saying that one owner is a real straight shooter.  However it seems in general there is less integrity amongst people nowadays.  I've got a guy that owes a refund on a deal that fell through(not exactly his fault), and every time I have talked to him to see what goes on I get a little bit of smooth talk and the check will be in the mail.  It's been several months this has been dragging on.  Like you not sure how to get this settled up - but I like your idea.

If I were you I would if you haven't already start a paper trail. Send him an invoice, spell out clearly exactly what was bought, how much, how much you discounted it and the balance owed. Put on it payment due upon receipt and if not paid how much interest you will charge on outstanding balance. Send it, if he doesn't pay send again in 30 days with interest. If it's important enough for you to collect after three or four times of doing this go to small claims court. Make sure to keep copies and document any type of communication.

I just wanted everyone on SP to know that mr tenenbaum is talking about me.  But what he failed to tell all of you is that i did him a favor on this trade. I didnt really need his embryos i just thought i would help out a fellow cattlemen who was having some financial trouble, but was really excited about using a bull that i as well as many other people are anticipating great things from. I will admit that i was a little slower about sending the money than mr tenenbaum would have liked and that is my fault. He apparently needs that small amount of money worse than i do and i am sorry about that. Just to let the world know he will get his money, he is not getting screwed, it has been sent, but must not be in his possesion. I am not a person that doesnt pay for things or re-nigs on a deal. Be careful who you do favors for in this business, nice guys finish last.

Just an FYI, you can't add on interest to a contract. Those terms must be stated clearly up front. That is why you must have an offer and consideration. The consideration usually is mutually agreed upon. Charging interest after the fact is modifying the contract. I am NOT A LAWYER, but have had my share of dealings with trades etc.
What I suggest any more, even for a simple sale, is to type it out. Make sure there are specific terms stating that you need to pay by such such date or these are the ramifications. There are simple computer programs you can get at any office supply place that spell most stuff out.

To the two folks having the dispute, this is unfortunate. Mr Campbell Cattle company, no one would have known it was you if if you hadn't spelled that out. Mr. Tenenbaum, you probably should be prepared for kick back when posting names of people on the internet for the world to read. Bottom line, unfortunatley it is hard to trust lots of folks these days. If you put it on paper it saves alot of people hard ache. Nothing wrong with spelling it out on paper.( you would'nt have any issue then with the payment time line) If someone doesn't want to do business that way, then keep moving.

looks like it worked out

I can see both sides, there are times when people have good intentions, but stuff always comes up

I have been in the same situation on a title and ultimately having a lawyer draft a letter got it done
