Weather in the Midwest?

Hey you guys.  Are those of you in Oklahoma and Texas surviving the ice?  How's the power situation?

In SW Missouri the snow was delayed getting here because of an anomoly in the weather.  Had a great big hole over us so the snow didn't start here until very early this morning.  Not supposed to get quite as much now.  Just hope that anomoly doesn't continue into the Spring and Summer bringing us a major drought.

Wondering the same thing..  pictures they show on the news look bad..

They may not have any electricity to respond.  I heard on the radio this morning that at least 100,000 were without power today.

Not as bad as the media would have you think.  Western OK got the worst of the ice and had the most of the power outages, but it's a lot
better than the ice storm of Dec. '07. NE Ok got some ice, now snow, looking at around 6 inches probably. A whole lot better than we
thought it was going to be, but still feel sorry for those who have lost power - that's no fun after the first day or two of roasting hot
dogs in the fireplace.    Kinda fun to take the four wheel drive out and have a little fun!
