Weather (Iowa and Nebraska)

How'd everyone fair out there last night??  Bad weather in south west Iowa and heard that there were blizzards in Nebraska- maybe gonna snow in Iowa this
weekend but not bad I dont think.  Hope all the calves and people out there are OK.  We had almost 3 inches of rain last night.

Wind and Hail in the east was about the worst. Some twister warnings but no major hits that I know of. The constant wind is just a pain. 50 MPH all day gets old REAL fast. What we don't get is how it can be a perfect day, near 80 one day. Then turn into a huge wind and storm event, and today it snowed, and a supposedly "major" storm is supposed to hit Friday and Saturday.

We've had about 3 inches rain since Sunday night. Luckily I have a nice pasture with a shed where my calves can stay reasonably dry. My other cow lot is a wreck. Mud's a foot deep.
