Weight classes?

Typically, what is a good weight for show calves? Are there different weight classes? Thanks for your help.

It all depends on when your show is, the frame size of your calf & the breed. some frames need to be a lot heavier to appear filled or finished.  At 1220 a smaller frame might be finished. Also when is your fair? If you have a couple of months you may need to be holding him. Let us know.
