What are going to be the hot topics for 08?

We've got the elections coming up in 2008. I'm sure there will be lots of weather stories. Will defects still be a hot topic or will something new take it's place? What will be the next big technology?
Will show ring scandals be worse? What sports is going to be the next one hit w/ tales of drug use? What celebrities is going to OD, be in jail or be a breakout hit?
Anything in your family that is going change? New babies, weddings? What about your herd or farming operation- any major changes? New jobs?
