Here's some pictures of our shorthorn baby "Strawberry Shortcake". She was born 10/19/08 and we just clipped her today, not the best clip job. We are thinking of keeping her and showing her. Just wanted some other opinions on her. So please be honest and tell me what you think of her. Thank you!!! :)

She looks real good!! Shortdawgs' gonna have to make sure his guns are loaded when he goes up against her down there at the shows. Is her sire THF?

Unfortantly her sire was a carrier. He was a bull we owned but we got rid of him before this calf was born because we did not want a bull that was a carrier. I am hoping that she is not a carrier we will be getting her tested soon.

Very nice profile.
Tons of hair (is that related to how good of cow she will make?)
It is hard to tell due to her hair, but it appears she needs bit more natural thickness in her rump and lower quarter. She seems a bit weak there.
I would also like to smooth out her shoulder a bit. She might grow into that though.

That being said,  I would not sell her if I owned her. ;)

Glad to see you actually bred her from your herd. Nice job!!!

She's just a baby...
I like the 3rd picture a lot.  She should be fun to show for the next 2 summers!
