Have some Meyer 734 x Bando 155 daughters. I bred all of them to Thriller this go round for show heifer production. Good or bad what do you guys think of this mating?

might need an extra generation of Maine influence first before creating the great ones...  Not sure if a 734/ angus can produce with one generation of composite...
Wow what a ridiculous statement!
Sounds like a good breeding program to make show HEIFERS to  most people that actually have raised this type cattle.
Fascinating how someone can go to from hating all thing club calf to the know all expert in such a short period of time.

W/E you say..  How many stellar steers winning this year have mothers of a basica SimAngus background?  Not as many as ones with crossed up mothers, or Maines...  Facts don't lie...

If I was making show heifers, I'd use 734/ Angus mamas every day of the week.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to read the SC.

Maybe it just takes a rocket scientist to read steerplanet.  Read the original post you replied to BS he says 734 X Bando 155 breed Thriller for SHOW HEIFER production.  You then told him 734/angus does not have enough power now you say that is exactly what you would use every day of the week.  Make up your mind or stop spreading the BS.
