This heifer was Grand Crossbred Heifer at my county fair.  She is the lot 124 heifer from Sullivan's sale last year. You can also find her in Lautners Semen Magazine under Jimmy the Greek.  Please tell me what you think.  I am taking her out to our State fair the second weekend of September.

She looks pretty good, wasty in her front thought.
I agree. Her front could be a bit sharper and cleaner. Not a bad animal though!

Thank you for the posts.  How would you get her brisket to shrink down and her gut to drop?

beet pulp will help drop her middle along with some winning fill or Depth charge.  We like both of those.  The brisket may be a little tougher to help out.  Diet can help clean up a front, but we reserve that for breds that we are feeding lots of fill, instead of grain, to avoid calving problems.  Easier for us to control protein/fat/fiber when you are doing it for calving instead of a growing heifer situation.

If she is really bad in her brisket you can try Femininity its an oxy product its suppose to help get that brisket to clean up and take away extra fat in the front end

What does Buck shoulder mean?  She was standing on a slight incline when we took this pic.

Little high in her jump muscles and could use more volume. Would like to see with her some more legs hair to make her appear a little heavier boned but its middle summer also. Good heifer. Whats she bred to?

Zak,
I haven't bred her yet.  Could never catch her in heat, then at fair on show day she came into standing heat.  A.I. guy and I decided it would be best to wait tell after fair, so that is the plan.  Goin to bred her to Rocky Balboa he adds hair to his calves.

Nice calf here yes she could be better in her brisket but will make a nice cow and would fit nicely in any herd
