This is a pic of my March '08 Bloodstone/Lucky Charm Heifer from the Open Show today. She was 3rd in class and he said she was the most sound heifer in the class, just a little grren.

she has some nice parts.  I would like to see her bigger boned.  I am not sure how you got her shown with that show halter.  Looks like she needs one much smaller.  Good luck down the road with her.

I was jiggling it to try to make her move her ears forward. I was by myself at the show and had to get three heifers fit and ready by 9 a.m so that probably wasn't the right halter either.

I think she looks pretty nice.  If she grows the way most Bloodstone's do, the more weight you put on her, the better she will will look.  She's got the right parts, it will be cool to see how she puts it together as she gets older.


Sounds like you needed some help! If I weren't 1000 miles away, I would have pitched in!

Thanks ! I think she has the potential to be pretty good. She looks better in person than any pic I've taken, really moves out good and just has a soft look. I may take you up on the help offer if we end up at the same show sometime.
