What line of simmy cows click best with Dream On?

Long story short.  Purchased a used semen tank and everything that was in it.  To my surprise, there were 4 straws of Dream On in the bunch!
We are kinda new to Simmy's and want to use the semen right.  I guess we are looking for the best of both worlds.  Maybe a cross to get a future herd bull or make some great replacement heifers.
What Simmy line compliments or makes the best babies out of Dream On?  Right now all I have is some future Angus / Grandmaster heifers coming next spring.  So I might be on a search to probably purchase a heifer or cow with lines that may work.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Hey, Ryan...just saw ur post & thot I'd try to throw out some ideas to consider. As I've mentioned, we never used Dream On much because he is heterozygous black, in addition to the fact that everybody else seemed to be using him plenty! I did sample him though, and with decent success, and obviously I've seen several over the years. I can't speak about the kinds of cows those cattle have been out out, but I can tell you what my observations have been of the Dream Ons in general...

In our operation, he seemed to click with cows that had a little stoutness to em. He'll add style and balance, and they seem to be plenty sound. I don't think he'll miraculously make a great one out of a real ordinary cow, and given what the semen is worth, I recommend using him on your top end cows if you hope to get the best results out of him. I've seen good half bloods as well as purebreds, so if you have some good, stout made, productive Angus cows you'd like to keep some heifers out of, I wouldn't hesitate to use it. Those are my thoughts.

We only have a few simmi's in our herd. I used Dream On on a Northern Improvement x 3C Macho heifer. Tiny at birth but she lives in the creep feeder and is growing like crazy. She had an ugly stage but is getting deeper and showier as she goes. I would use him again on my Macho females. I know its one not that big deal but its been positive for us.

I have several own daughters of D.O. and a half dozen granddaughters....and love them.  The two daughters are out of fairly old bred dams, Power Stroke daughters.  Both are very good cows, one of which I still own.    The D.O. line is typically known to perform better on old school lines, and I think my scenario reinforces it.  Easy keepers and very stylish.
