Wind took our grain auger right over today

After losing an auger that way we began using the same rope we use to make halters, to tie it to the ring that went around the grain bin top.  Is yours a 10" auger?  You might need a bigger rope or steel cable, because ours was just 8".  Anybody else ever tie up an auger?

Wind can be very helpful in certain situations but I can't stand those days where it makes working just impossible. Had corrals fences blow over twice this spring and an old steel bin picked up and moved due to it. Very frustrating.
