what to breed angus cow to

This is my 2010 Angus cow. She is a bextor and she was raised by me in Missouri. I would like to know your input on how she looks and what I should breed to. Hoping to ai to cllubby calf but not sure what I'll do yet. She is bred for 2017 but will breed the next year. Thanks!!!!!

I like her structure but she lacks muscling that might make for a good clubby steer.

I'm thinking Walks Alone or the Shorthorn bulls Uncle or Proud Jazz for a nice Shorthorn Plus

She is pretty plain in her make-up.  Gonna need a pretty powerful clubby bull to get a steer that'll be competitive.

I would say Choppin Wood but I don't think she has enough frame. He will downsize them allot, but he has allot of power.

"Plain in her makeup" is about as good of a compliment as a functional cow can be given.  She may not be best suited for producing androgynous show steers but she looks like a good production cow to me.  If you'll 'settle' for a heifer, you may be better off choosing a bull that's more geared towards producing replacement quality females.  The extreme type you'll need to breed this particular cow to, in order to have a chance at producing a competitive steer, is certainly not a bull you want to keep replacement heifers out of.

No matter what the appearnace on this of this cow I still don't know how functional she actually is.  Just what functional traits do you want to improve on her?
My first instinct is to use MLS Upgrade on her as this would power her up along with increasing muscle and growth.
