Just bought and I-80 heifer and already has me thinking what to breed her to for her first calf since it seems every calving ease bull is out of Ali like I-80. I know the easy route would be just an angus but just looking for the option of the clubbies

Wonder if this maybe a small world, we raised a I-80 Heifer that sold as lot 27 on Campbell Cattle Company's online sale Monday Nite. If this is the case we would sure be intersted in following her progress. We would also like to extend our thanks for the purchase.

I would use Gigolo Joe.  We have had really good luck with him on heifers.  Attached is a pic of an I-80 heifer out of a Gigolo Joe cow that we are selling on the Usual Suspects sale!

How about the Candian bred Angus HF Prowler?  I have seen tremendous looking calves out of him on Maine heifers?  Maine wise...I'm a Major's Money man fan on her

Prowler can be a load for cows once in awhile. Not a heifer bull.

Brent...have you been anywhere to see the Prowler calves?  What's the verdict?  Thx!

I loved the Prowler calves I seen, and not a soul I talked to had trouble calving Prowlers on Maine cows...just what I heard

I like the old school Maine Break and Witch Doctor recommendations.  Maine Break would be my first choice.  I saw the bull on display at the IBE back in the day (maybe 93) and he was cool, even for today.

Mark I know of 2 PPL that used him some. One will not use him again B/C the calves were too big even on mature cows & the other liked the calves & is using him again. I have not personally seen any Prowler calves.
