This is a full Irish dtr of Ballyart Vantage out of a Shannon Music cow. She is 12 going on 13. Pic was taken today. She is due the 1st week of Jan. to CF Primo. Planning on flushing her at least once full Irish & was thinking either JJ Denim or the old man himself "Dividend." I was also thinking of flushing her one other time to a "modern" bull & was wondring what some thoughts are. Might be Primo after I see this calf.

I saw a few Phildon Get Serious (Sire: WHR Sonny 8114 Dam: Ka'Ba Rose DL) cattle that really interested me this year. Looks like from some of the cows I have seen he would work well on your cow. I do not know the bloodlines as well as you, only going from what i saw this past summer. His BW's are not the best was the one draw back I saw.

nice female what has worked on her before?

Thanks. She had a pretty nice bull by Primo. Neighbors dogs got him & then I got them. She had a pretty nice hfr by a Dividend son I raised out of Hope 251.

Deertrail Overtime-one of the greatest changers and female producers Ive ever seen. There is a picture somewhere stashed away of me in Ireland and Ballyart Vantage-in 1992. He had been tied up all his life and was crippled-but wasnt his fault. He was a long bodied pretty bull, and the coolest thing I ever saw out of him was a hiefer from Phildon Farms-His daughter would NEED A THICK BULL.However-I also visited Edward Quane-and after a few shots of whiskey got around to the pedigree of Overtime (GuinessxHigh Field Hope) which he had alot to do with.I also had pictures of various Overtome cows who went back to Hilltop-Marvel and other breeding. He took one look at the O-time picture-and said thats a massive thick bull-that shows no dual breeding-being solid red out of a roan and almost white cow.Long story-O-time would really work-with Vantage-and the relative of Sewells Music cow(I think thats your cow)-That animal would also have the BIG THREE in her Pedigree-Quane,Maloney,and Kevin Culhane, along with Ballyart-likely a rewind. There are only 6 Overtime straws that I know of. Maybe Waymar HFS O-malley-Dividend Kimmillhill would be kool also_Or Deerpark Leader of TMG-I bought semen on the Junior donation-never got it.If it were me-Id use CUNIA,or a larger club calf bull like Man O War-clean,performance,and Leader 18 in the woodpile.
