If my cows are 85 to 45 days past AI/Embryos is now a good time to ultrasound preg check? I don't care if they can be sexed but really need to know if they are AI or clean up bull bred so next spring I know when they are supposed to calve. Bulls were pulled 30 days ago.

At that many days past insemination/transplant you should be able to easily see a pregnancy with ultrasound.  (thumbsup)  FYI...60-90 days is the range to sex the fetus.

When was the bull put in?

If the bull was put in 14-21 days after AI?ET now would be a perfect time to ultrasound for pregnancy - ie it is easy to differentiate 85 vs 71 vs 64 day old and 45 vs 31 vs 24. You could also sex your 55 on up (to sometime 110 depending on if the calf is lying in the right position) day pregnancies just for the fun of it ;) You can as Zak says determine pregnancy before 45 days - some can call pg  down to 27 days

Bulls were put in 7-10 days after AI/ET for most of our cows while some of the later bred recipients did not get a full cycle with the clean up bull because I want to keep a 60 day calving season. 60 days of calving club calves  is enough for me. ;) Thanks

You can easily tell between AI and clean up bulls if you go ahead ultrasound now.  If you wait much  longer (past 90 days) the ultrasound won't work and you will have to palpate the cows which is not nearly as accurate as ultrasound.
