Which Steer Looks Better?

These are mine and my buddy’s show steers and we wanted to know from other people who’s looks better and the reasoning for it/ who would you place better in show and why he looks better than the other. The first one is his steer he’s 10 months old and around 600lbs a Maine Anjou x Angus. The second one is mine, he’s 8 months old and around 500lbs he’s a Maine Anjou x American. We’re just curious, thanks y’all!

Not going to judge the calves based off one picture, their both young and green. I will say they both need to get on full feed as soon as you can and start them in the right direction.

If you were looking for a steer and you came across these two steers with these pictures which one would you be more interested in or go to check out?

I'd take the 2nd steer over the first. More bone, more balance , leveler across his top. But like vc says, 1 pic of each in green condition isn't doing them any favors
