I just bought a calf for next year's county fair in August and there is a feed out there that has cherry oil in it but i can not remember who makes it. The feed i guess helps with fair growth also. And will it be ok for my calf to be put out on pasture with a little bit of feed till about Dec. Or should i keep it on full feed all the way till August.?

Where do you live? Was it made by a feed company or your local feed mill?
Kent Feeds has feed that has a cherry flavoring. Some local feed mills also will use the product.

I live in Michigan I thought it was a bigger feed mill that brought it to local ones?

Kent Feeds is a big company. We use Evergreen which is owned by Kent and it has worked good for us. I am not for sure of the flavoring since i have not taste tested. Kent mixes Showbloom in their First Rate Show feeds.

Kent uses a cherry flavoring for their show feed so it's probably one of theirs. You have a lot of Kent Feed dealers in MI. I'd just ask your local feed mill which formula is best for the stage your calves are at now.
