HOWDY!

I just had a little idea, that I wanted to present to yall. I picked a handful of my cows and am going to list how they are bred, and I would like for yall to vote on which mating is going to work the best! Have fun with it and I am looking to see what yall think!

The cows can be viewed at www.qbcattlecompany.com. Go to "THE HERD" page and all the cows and their names will be listed.
                                                                                            or
The cows and the matings can also be seen on our facebook page. Just search QB Cattle - Hondo, Tx.

Romax - I get so anxious every year to see what I am going to get after contemplating how I want each cow bred for so long. I just wanted to put it out there to everyone on the planet to see which matings they think are going to work the best ( which cow will have the best calf ).

and White Eye is a Godfather son out of a wmw meyer 734 cow....He really moderates frame and powers up those brahman cows - on my website the first black calf listed for sale is out of Sady and White Eye

Firewater is a purebred charoais. His daughters have been dominating the charolais shows the past couple of years. Awesome bull.

May I ask why the calves are clipped the way they are? I am a Northern and am not familiar with ABC's and Braham cross. Is that common? Kind of like they do sheep?

It is just a style that has been around down here for a while. These brahman influenced usually have poor hair and regular clip jobs dont do much good. Shearing them the way I did shows of there muscle expression but leaves the hair on the legs to keep the stout bone look.
