Wanted to see if anyone has any experience with this feed.
One of our steers was gaining to fast and cutting way back right now, don't want to lose muscle, but worried about that.  His rump is already looking smaller.  Anysuggestions.
He'll probably only go as far as Ft Worth.  <cowboy>

I decide to try winning fill earlier this year and it worked great. I fed it to one of my heifers that need a little bit more fill and it got the job done. I also noticed that it even put a little bit more muscle on her, so it may help to keep some muscle on your steer. I think that it is a good product but many people say that the animals love it and start eating it right away, not my heifer. She really didn't seem to like it at first and even after I had been feeding it for a while she really didn't seem to care for it. Just about a couple months ago she basically decided she didn't like it anymore so I switched back to beet pulp (she eats that much better) which was OK because I am feeding her pretty hard. I have talked to other people in my area as well and they said that when they started feeding it their animals didn't like it either.  Someone else may have a different perspective with the product but this is just my experience with Winning Fill. Winning Fill is also somewhat expensive which is what I really didn't like about it. Feeding Showbloom should help with muscle also.

Same experience here. My calves didn't much care for it at first. I would suggest feeding it 3-4 weeks before the show and at show. It is easy to pack, although I think they need to put handles on those darn bales.
It is expensive, and with a little innovation, you can formulate a ration that is much cheaper and will do as good, if not better job.
