we have a Angus cross calf born sept 15 2012 (so just a little guy) What Can we do with him .he is pretty fancy , little lighter boned then our club calf babies ? Does anyone show Sept Steers ? we were hoping for a heifer ..but it was a bull This is him about a month ago and his mother ..she is a matrix x dream on

Cut him, feed him out and put him in the freezer.  Someone will love him that way and probably pay a premium for the privilege.

I would hold off a little bit and see how he develops.  He could be a bull prospect for someone looking for a herd bull the spring 2014.  Some people would rather use long yearling bulls rather than a true yearling.  That extra age helps them cover more cows that first year.
