Unforunately.... I know more than one person like that and it is difficult not to react in the same way.   
I make it a point to avoid subjects that would cause an outbreak of....... mental midgetitus!  And if that doesn't work, I just make it a point to avoid the individual all together, except for moments where I need to laugh!

Oh Mark, didn't you know that taking 25 years to design business cards is the most effective way to get your name out and for people to contact you? I know that I would someday like to read a business card to my children instead of a bedtime story.

If it took 25 years for that guy to make that business card I would hate to see how long it would take him to invent something that is completely new. I mean everything on that card has been around for years. (clapping)
