Have a little free time so was looking through the new SEK book and saw one of these in the book and one online. Anyone use or seen these bulls. Like the pedigree on them. Any other sleepers people could show that are not owned by the big time guys.

I like the no surprise bull! But one I also like a whole lot is his sire titanium, went to Oklahoma this summer (j3 cattle from steerplanet)and saw some awesome calves out of him,

He would be a big time bull if he was promoted harder

The bloodlines on that No Surpise bull are very good. There is a heifer on lautners blog that would be a full sib in blood to him, i think, that Soehnlen put up. I think he's a member on here? The granddam to no surprise is a awesome producing char cow.

Did you use him personally or just because of his age there should be some? All the bulls I posted should have calves this year.

Wrc (a fellow steerplaneteer)  and I own a full sib flush mate to no surprise. Wrc raised her and sold me 1/2 interest and full possession of her. Legally blonde has made some good ones over the years and we're hoping she will too. No surprise should have some calves coming soon

Yeah I thought I had read somewhere that no surprise was a titanium, but turns out they are half brothers instead, false alarm!  (thumbsup)

Sold some semen on him (90 proof) will go check on calves when they hit the ground. I personally don't have any bred to him.

Interesting you posted the No Surprise bull. I was looking at him in the catalog SEK as well. He has some masculinity to him and I appreciate his coloring. I did dig up a video on Youtube of him as well as another picture.
