Ok, what is with all of the color?  I wouldn't even consider using a bull with that much white on him, it seems like every bull I have seen coming out this year is light colored with lots of white.  I guess I am partial to black, is it just me?

I love color!! I find the colored calves are easier to sell and you see alot of colored calves around here doing very well in the show ring.

Jill, between the 'limmi' type muscling and this I think you'd puke if you walked into a slick steer show.
(clapping) You win the prize, you made me laugh, I think you're probably right.

Blind Side looks to be a stout SOB in the pic and from what I have seen of Anarchy he is too. Then if the Voegle bull goes he will be one to look out for. Of course Lautner will have several bulls.
The voegle bull is the real deal

the bull anarchy is very hairy but is not the stout very coarse through the  shoulder , thick through the neck  and very big headed, no top to this bull at all and no natural muscle in this bull

I'll say this-I believe the new bull 'Eye of the Storm' is flat out awesome.  To be honest, I watched the video and TRIED my damnest to find a flaw in him...couldn't find a flaw in my book.  The only flas I find is that he's not on the market yet or not in my pasture.  He's a special creature.

Congratulations on Eye Of The Storm - he's very impressive.

Please don't take this wrong, but anytime you promote a bull (or anything else), you're opening him up for public commentary.  If you can't take the negative along with the positive, I think you might have a long month ahead of you.  And as far as having to have raised a Denver display bull before you have the right to be critical... Just because one's been displayed in Denver doesn't make him great, and just because you've raised one of those, that doesn't make you smarter or more entitled to an opinion than the people you're trying to market them to.  Telling them it does won't sell much semen, IMO.

I wish you a good and succesful trip to Denver.

Have to agree with ghostrider on this one, 1 in a 100 display bulls actually make it to the 2nd year of still selling semen, so there are obviously many bulls that just don't make the cut, just because they are on display doesn't make them a great bull, (I haven't seen yours in person so I don't know if yours are or not).  I don't have any desire to raise bulls, display or otherwise, I AM a customer that purchases semen on some of them, it doesn't make me any less knowledgable than the guy that raises them.
If you don't want your bull critiqued before Denver, don't release photos of him until he is on display.

Classy.  You forgot that they are ugly, smelly, and dumb.  You have great cattle represented on here always.  Less is more with the comments.
