Our first this year was a heifer, born Jan. 16th. She came from a red white face commercial simmental cow and sired by an Ameritrade son.

This picture was taken Jan. 30th (2 weeks old). She sure is colorful! It's fun watching her jump around and play with those 4 white socks.

Our next calves aren't due until March. They'll be the first out of my new herd bull. ;D

One of the neighbors had one heck of a Tiger Woods x Heat Wave bull calf born yesterday, and all I can say is that my carrier females will be getting bred to him this round. Calf is hairy, big boned, good on structure. Real good calf.

pics or it didn't happen  (lol)

I feel like a proud mommy  <party>  the Herfy calved yesterday (shes a Paparazzi daughter).  Calf is sired by my In Focus son purchased from Bear Mountain last year.  Calf came a bit bigger than what I thought he would (still UA though)... But wow, IMO, he was worth the wait! (clapping)

This is my only photogenic baby so far!  This is Juliet, she was born on Valentines Day and is out of Black Joker and Caitlins very first show heifer who is a double bred Meyer grandaughter.  Needless to say Caitlin has already laid claim to her for the show ring next year

We had our first AI calf today out of Milkman...solid black out of an Angus cow, unassisted around 90 lbs. It is a heifer and she looks real good. It is actually a smaller calf than the cow had last year and it was a Simmental calf! So I have no complaints so far on Milkman birth weights, there is still one more MM on the way.

We had AI calf #2 today out of Who Made Who, a heifer! Out of an Angus cow, 65 lb BW and has alot of hair and has a great look to her. I need to get some pics but so far I am happy with what I see. Also have a cow bred to Bojo that looks like she's about to explode. Hope it's not too big!
