(Not bovine related) Teaching a pig to sit!

Nice looking gilt...should really compete well. Good luck. Our four pigs are housed at a lady's house who doesn't have any agricultural background. She absolutely loves the pigs. If one is sick or something, she is the first person to be out tending to it with a little TLC. She purchased...

    thoughts on these cattle

Wow...that last heifer you have posted is very stout. She could face a lot of competition and still come out on top. Good luckwith her this year. I also really liked your Hereford bull calf. I'm an Angus breeder and my dad is always telling me that there are no such things as good Herefords, but...

A Christmas song for the Simmental breeders, and anyone else! :)

Very creative! When I read it to my parents, they laughed and thought that the only thing that would make it better would be if it were for Angus sires.

Wow! I was very impressed with the quality of the footage on the videos. I have only judged one class, but I will definitely do more in my free time. Will really help prepare me for the future judging contests. Thanks!

I don't know if you have decided whether you want a heifer or a steer, but I have a nice Angus steer calf that was born on March 15th for sale. Today was only the second day of tying him up and he is super quite already. I just weaned him a few days ago and his weight tonight was exactly 700...

Really nice set of Shorthorns. They should sell fast. Do you still have the 119 cow (red)?

    opinions on march bull calf

Nice calf. I agree a lot with the first post. He is still a bit tubular, but the rib may come. He is super clean fronted, correct in his lines, hard topped, and thick in the rear. I really like his lower muscling in his leg. He may be a bit frail boned, but he certainly is a correct made bull.

    opinions on calf

Wow. He is a nice calf. Super sound. I love his depth of rib, bone, clean front, and lower muscling in his leg. He should show really well this year and next. Good luck!
