    Gestation in shorthorn cattle

    It will very cow to cow but our shorthorn adult cows tend to calve between 290 to 295 days and we have even had a few go as long as 298 days. Our shorthorn heifers typically go 285 to 290 days.  This is much different than our angus cattle that usually go from 275 to 285 days. Thanks, dhs

    Fringe x Fringe's Dam (Sonny) Bull Calf Selling at Paulsen's and Voegele's Sale

    I just wanted to update some info. Joel Brooks contacted me tonight and informed me that this is acctually a Fringe ET bull calf out of Fringe's dam (Sonny x Double Leader), which is a  Full sib to Get Serious and Absolutly. They are selling 1/2 Semen interest and Full Possession on him.
